VirtualUnknown™ Microbiology (VUMicro for short) is a software package for teaching microbiology.

It provides a simulation of the techniques, media, and tests involved in identifying bacteria.

It is supported with a "lab manual" called Basic Training Manual for VUMicro(TM) 3.0 that includes a variety of exercises intended to make the software useful for teaching a variety of subjects BESIDES techniques, media, and tests involved in identifying bacteria.
